SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) - Located in Eddington, Cambridge, a new phase of homes in Knights Park is slated to launch for sale in Singapore at Raffles Hotel Arcade on the weekend of Jan 15–16.

Rubicon, the latest phase of homes that are slated for launch, comprises studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and duplex units starting from £329,950 ($607,622).

Apartment units boast black industrial-style glazing with sleek finishings, fitted with state-of-the-art fixtures. Top-floor apartments feature high vaulted ceilings, allowing for a larger sense of space and improving ventilation. Each apartment will also come with one parking lot.

Kitchen areas in the units will be equipped with appliances such as a cooker hood, oven and microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and a washer/dryer.

Riding on the trend of working from home, the development also features co-working spaces. These run the gamut of spaces designed for different working needs: a mix of private work areas, and larger open spaces that allow for collaboration.

Landscaped green spaces run between the buildings, with nooks for residents to sit and rest. There is also a dedicated play area for children.

The development is located in a strategic location. “The city is now at the heart of a thriving tech and biotechnology hub in Silicon Fen Cambridge, with global employers like Apple, Google, Amazon, Microsoft and AstraZeneca. It offers fantastic career opportunities along with its world-class education environment, making it ideally positioned for rising demand for residential investment opportunities,” remarks Doris Tan, regional director at Benham & Reeves, which is marketing the property in Singapore.

“Knights Park also benefits from the district-wide systems, including an efficient-energy centre delivering instant heat and water, in addition to being home to one of the largest rainwater recycling systems in the UK. There is also an innovative underground refuse and recycling system, while solar panels are a norm across the development,” says Benham & Reeves.

The homes showcase a wide range of sustainable features, from high-performing robust insulation and triple glazing to photovoltaic panels and mechanical ventilation in addition to heat recovery systems, it adds.

An expansive plot of 123 acres (50 hectares) of green open space surrounds the development. Homeowners can stroll to the Brook Leys parkland through a network of cycling and foot paths available. There is also a local sports pitch and children’s playground within a five-minute walk from the development.

From Knights Park, residents will be able to reach Cambridge Railway Station in about 18 minutes by car. From there, they can access Stansted Airport in 30 minutes, Peterborough in 49 minutes and London Kings Cross in just under an hour, says Benham & Reeves.

Residents will also have access to the University of Cambridge’s Primary School, while a range of secondary schools can also be reached via public transport.

The development is built by family-owned company Hill, headquartered in Waltham Abbey. With a workforce of over 650 people, the developer has a diverse portfolio of experience building mixed-use regeneration schemes, inner-city apartments, and homes set in the rural countryside.
